Friends of the Toulon Public Library

The Friends of the Library is a group of volunteers who work with the staff to enhance our facilities, provide a greater range of services and promote the Toulon Public Library District. The Friends encourage patrons to take a more active role in library activities by contributing financially, donating materials, and by sharing their time and talents. As Friends of the Library, share diverse interests and abilities. Past participation includes assisting with book sales, summer reading events, various demonstrations and author visits. New opportunities will reflect the interests of those who have expressed a desire to become more involved.

How do I become a Friend of the Library?

Friends of Library Roster (Membership Levels)
- Donors who gave money while fund raising was taking place for the new library building will automatically become a Friend of the Library at the level at which they gave. It should also be noted, that the board of directors reserves the right to bestow membership on those whom they feel have made a lasting contribution to the Toulon Public Library District.
