The Toulon Public Library would like to thank everyone for their participation in the “Knit One Murder Too” fund raiser.  Without the many volunteers that we had we could not put this event on.  Thank you so very much.

Summer Reading Program

Our Summer Reading Program is in full swing.  If you haven’t yet signed up for the program you may still do so.  This program is for everyone (birth to 103!).  We have lots of fun doing it and you get to win prizes as well as read some really good books.  Please join us for this program by calling the library at 286-5791 or signing up when you stop by.

Free Movie

The library will be showing a free movie on Monday, June 28, and July 5 at 1 pm.  You may call the library for the title of the movies or check out our website.  Our website has upcoming events and happenings on it, so check it out at www.toulonpld.org

New Books

We have gotten some new books in and they are ready to check out.  We will be getting more books in so stop in and browse our new bookshelf frequently.  Some of our new books are:  The Sheen on the Silk by Anne Perry, Stay a Little Longer by Dorothy Garlock, The Bourne Objective by Robert Ludlum, and Exclusive by Fern Michaels.

If you prefer non-fiction books we have some that may catch your eye.  The include:  Save Energy & Cut Your Bills by Nick White, Girls on the Edge by Leonard Sax, M.D., Ph.D., No-Fad Diet by The American Heart Association, The Best Life Guide to Managing Diabetes and Pre-Diabetes, and Battles of the Korean War by Richard K. Kolb, Editor
