Circuit Breaker

A representative from The Central Illinois Agency on Aging will be at the library on February 16 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm to assist you on Illinois Cares RX/CIRCUIT Breaker.  Information that you need to bring with you are:  Total gross income for 2009, include Social Security with Medicare B premium, Real Estate Taxes for 2009 (landlords name, address and phone number), value of current bank accounts and investments, and life insurance with cash value.  You do not need to call for an appointment as it is a first come first serve basis.

Resume Help

On February 20, Michael Baumann will be available to help anyone with writing or fixing their resume.  You may bring your resume on a flash drive or email it to yourself.  Please call the library at 286-5791 if you would like to make an appointment with him. 

New DVD’s

We have processed some new DVD’s for your enjoyment.  You may want to checkout any of the following:  Music and Lyrics, Catch and Release, Hoot, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Four Christmases, My Sister’s Keeper, Julie & Julia, Coraline, Up, and City of Ember.  DVD’s and videos maybe checked out for one week.  If a specific movie is out we can put a hold on it for you and call you when it comes in.

Family Fun Night

Please don’t forget to come to Family Fun Night on Thursday, February 18.  The fun starts at 6:00 pm and goes until 7:00 pm.  A fun time is always had by all that come.
