Many patrons have commented on our new and improved On-Going Book Sale located in the elevator lobby on the main floor.  We are so pleased with the success of the book sale, because money made from these sales supports programs and services at the Library.

Friends of the Library used funds from the book sale in Spring 2010 to help the Library pay for its new downloadable books service - click the link to check it out!

In order to keep the book sale going, the Friends of the Library depend on donations from the public.  We accept hardcover and paperback books, CDs, DVDs and videos for adults and children, which can be dropped off at the Library.  Please do not drop off magazines, encyclopedias or outdated textbooks.  The Friends (and the Library!) greatly appreciate your donations and show of support for our fundraising efforts.

The Berwyn Library is one of five designated warming centers within the City.

And we have so many events going on, and quiet places to read, or computers to use, it's a good place for anyone, one person or even the whole family, to spend a couple of hours out of the cold.
