Meet the Staff

The Outreach Services department delivers books, literacy materials, and support services to preschools, adult ESL classes, nursing homes, senior centers, and to the disabled and homebound. Outreach also plans and provides adult and family programming at the Library and throughout the community.

Our comprehensive literacy program supports lifelong learning in the following areas:

  • early childhood literacy
  • family literacy
  • adult literacy, GED, English as a Second Language (ESL)

The Berwyn Library is one of five designated warming centers within the City.

And we have so many events going on, and quiet places to read, or computers to use, it's a good place for anyone, one person or even the whole family, to spend a couple of hours out of the cold.
