Tired of scanning newspapers or the Internet, searching to make sure you don’t miss the newest book by that wonderful author?!
Let the Readers' Advisory Department help you get a jump on the newest books by your favorite fiction authors! Enjoy your favorite fiction authors without the hassle of hunting for their newest novel!
Call, come in, or email the Readers Advisory Desk and ask to sign up for “Holds without Hassle.” You fill out a sheet with your name, phone number, library card barcode, and an initial list of authors, and we automatically put a hold on the newest book by those authors for you. All you need to do is sit back and wait for us to let you know the book is ready.

To get you started, you may list up to twenty-eight choices, either by picking an author off of our list, suggesting your own author, or choosing an award winning category to be notified about.
For example, your list could include John Grisham, Danielle Steel, the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, Mary Higgins Clark, Janet Evanovich, James Patterson, and the newest Oprah Selection.
