Library materials delivered to you!  Homebound service is for Berwyn residents with temporary or permanent disabilities that prevent them from using library facilities. It couldn’t be easier!  There is no age restriction.  Some have even received books temporarily while restricted during a pregnancy or for a short recovery period after surgery.

Services Include:

  • Free, monthly delivery and pick up by library staff to your home
  • Personally selected books, magazines, audio books, and music
  • Excludes new and high-demand materials, as well as VHS tapes and DVDs
  • 4-week checkout

And we have so many events going on, and quiet places to read, or computers to use, it's a good place for anyone, one person or even the whole family, to spend a couple of hours avoiding the cold of winter or the heat of summer.
