"Deliver me from writers who say the way they live doesn't matter. I'm not sure a bad person can write a good book, If art doesn't make us better, then what on earth is it for."

—Alice Walker (b. 1944) American writer, Meridian, The Color Purple

need to get out of the weather?

The Berwyn Library is one of five designated warming/cooling centers within the City.

And we have so many events going on, and quiet places to read, or computers to use, it's a good place for anyone, one person or even the whole family, to spend a couple of hours avoiding the cold of winter or the heat of summer.
